Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation begins in 9th Grade and concludes at the end of 10th Grade.
- Candidate must be baptized (Cannon 889). Parents of children who are past second grade and have not received Reconciliation or Communion should come to the parish office to plan a personalized program for their child. Adults, even those baptized in the Catholic Church, who have not received these sacraments should participate in RCIA.
- Must be a registered member of a parish.
- The decision to be confirmed must be made by the candidtate.
- Must be formed in the faith through Catholic education (parish or school faith formation program).
