Confirmation

To all candidates, parents, sponsors and mentors,

Welcome to a new year of sacramental preparation! As you already know, the Sacrament of Confirmation marks an important step in the lifelong journey of all candidates toward God as they become fully initiated Catholics, sealed with the Holy Spirit. As the candidates approach their confirmation date, it is increasingly important not only that they pray, but that their family, friends, mentors and sponsors pray with and for them as well. Remember, this is another step in a lifelong relationship with Christ and no relationship can grow and be healthy if there is no communication. We must spend time with our beloved to know our beloved.
Besides constant prayer, as our Lord commands us, the candidates will be continuing to grow in and learn about the faith in a special way this year through their program. The following list contains the requirements for the confirmation preparation program for each grade. To the right are links explaining some requirements as well as a calendar of some upcoming dates.
