Parish Trustees: The trustees advise the Pastor on various matters concerning parish welfare - including some personnel, finance, social and pastoral matters. Dr. Tim Murray and Dr. John Kanyusik are trustees for St. Joseph the Worker and John Rothfork and Lori Meixell are the trustees for Holy Family. They are also, usually, the second signers of checks and sign all important documents, parish reports etc. They are appointed by the pastor and, if this is confirmed by the diocese, will serve for two renewable terms of two years.
Joint Pastoral Council: Holy Family and St. Joseph the Worker have a Joint Pastoral Council to assist the pastor in making decisions regarding the spiritual, social and pastoral welfare of the parishes. They are often the conduit through which the pastor learns how things are running. The Pastor serves on these councils as well as the members listed below:

Finance Councils: These councils help the Pastor come to important financial decisions and suggest ways of acquiring the funds needed for the physical upkeep of the parish as well as certain projects he may have in mind. They assist the Pastor therefore in large financial matters including the formulation of the parish budget. Ideally, terms are of three years, renewable for three. The Pastor, Bookkeeper and certain office staff serve on these committees, as well as the members listed below.

Liturgy Committees: The liturgy is one of the Pastor’s key areas of responsibility, and the committee works to ensure the best possible liturgies in both of our parishes. The liturgy is devised in such a way as to enhance people’s religious experience and knowledge of the Faith. Areas include: Music, Word, & Environment.
Building & Grounds: Member of this committee have expertise in various areas important to the maintenance of our physical plant. They help to keep the Pastor informed of pertinent developments and necessities. They ensure the smooth running of our campus – both inside and out. The Pastor and Head Custodian serve on these Committees as well as the members listed below.
Stewardship Committees: This committee is responsible for new and innovative ways to stimulate and foster a spirit of discipleship within the parish through responsible stewardship – the use of Time, Talent and Treasure.
Respect Life Committee: This group meets to find ways of promoting the dignity of all human life.
